The New York Agricultural Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2006 by farmers, for farmers and their communities, to help conserve important working farm and forestlands. NYALT is a statewide organization currently assisting farmers in the Central New York region of New York State to implement farmland protection projects funded by the New York State Department of Agriculture through its farmland protection grant program.

  When customers purchase an agricultural tractor (new 6000 and above series), a contribution will be sent to NYALT to support their efforts.  The gift will be made in memory, celebration or honor of the customer's family members or designated friends.  We are proud to participate and support farm preservation and the celebrate the legacy of family farms in our region.

This is the mission statement of the Arbor Day Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit conservation and education organization.

Founded in 1972, the centennial of the first Arbor Day observance in the 19th century, the Foundation has grown to become the largest nonprofit membership organization dedicated to planting trees, with over one million members, supporters, and valued partners.

The impact we make on our world is accomplished through our conservation and education programs

  The purchase of any Commercial Mowers for Commercial Users generates a contribution towards the Arbor Day Foundation to plant new trees in a National Forest.  We are joining their Trees in Celebration Program.  Donations will be made in name, honor or memory of the customer's loved ones.  Each dollar purchases one tree in a National Forest.  We all benefit from this proactive move to preserve a greener environment for our children.

Cazenovia Equipment Company's YTD Arbor Day Foundation Contributions.....$2,047.33

  Residential and Large Property owners who purchase a new Compact Tractor (1000-5000 series) will receive a voucher equivalent to a percentage of the tractor sale amount to purchase a tree or shrub at a local landscaping, nursery or greenhouse establishment. This effort will help us put more green in our local communities.

  All our residential customers  will receive a "Plant a Tree" kit, a bookmark that can be planted to grow a new tree. 

To date, we have distributed over 1000 packets of evergreen seeds to customers.

Sesame Street™ "My World is Green and Growing" is a bi-lingual environmental education initiative developed by Sesame Workshop, the non-profit behind Sesame Street. A kit was developed in partnership with PNC Grow Up Great which was designed to promote exploration and investigation of the natural world. Available in English and Spanish, the Sesame Street™ "My World is Green and Growing" Explorer's Kit provides useful tips and activities to help young children and grown-ups explore the natural environment by using everyday moments as great learning opportunities.
