New 778 Rotary Harvesting Unit

Self-Propelled Forage Harvesters

The 778 Rotary Harvesting Unit has a large-drum design, which is well suited for tall-crop conditions, wide-row applications and lodged crop such as down sorghum.

The use of four large drums eliminates the need for cross-feeding drums to cut, gather, and move the crop to the center of the head. Two vertical-feeding drums transfer the crop from the head to the feedrolls of the SPFH. The result is improved machine performance and a more uniform length of cut.
