Performance Expectations:

Develops and assists in implementing standardized warranty claim policies, processes and procedures

Opens, closes and submits warranty repair orders and ensures compliance with non-returnable service parts policies

Reviews and reconciles all warranty claims and monitors expiring, extended or special machine warranties

Forwards and monitors all warranty RGA parts requests to appropriate Branch Service Manager

Processes all mass channel PDI, product registration, FUAS and out for repair orders

Ensures that logs for all goods hauled to and from all locations/customers are completed and submitted in a timely manner

Coordinates annual training and continuing education for all delivery vehicle drivers

Supports new hires with using dealership transportation systems, technology and training on best practices for hauling

Supervise and schedule routine maintenance, repairs and compliance records for company fleet vehicles at all locations

Monitor costs of transportation and make decisions to minimize expenses

Ensures that all equipment is delivered and retrieved in a timely, efficiently and cost effective manner

Assists in developing and implementing standardized job pricing processes that will maximize service profitability

Effectively communicates with all Service Department Managers and administrative support on a daily basis

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

Associates degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelors’ degree preferred

2 years of experience in Service Department operations; knowledge of the Ag & Turf industry helpful

Excellent customer service skills

Basic knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of customer and dealer owned equipment

General understanding of mechanical/technical terms, air conditioning, electrical and hydraulic systems

Solid understanding of service functions in company business operating system

Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office, email and internet functions

Solid understanding of financial principles relative to Service Department operations

Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports and provide feedback with areas of improvement

Exhibits a willingness to accept additional assignments

Exhibits necessary skills to effectively work within a fast-paced environment

Exhibits strong desire to expand personal development

Achieves and maintains forklift certification

Ability to travel for customer service and training as needed

Clean driver’s record and valid New York State driver’s license
