Press Release: March 13, 2024

We are excited to share the news that Cazenovia Equipment has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners. Over the next three months, we will complete business integration and expect to officially close the transaction on May 31st.

SNPartners ( is a family-owned, full-service John Deere dealer group with 28 existing locations in Missouri and Illinois. The Nobbe family founded the WM Nobbe Co. in 1907 while Sydenstricker Implement was founded in 1944. With over a century-long legacy of serving the agriculture community, they are dedicated to the communities they serve. This acquisition is a strategic move by SNP to leverage scale and experience, provide opportunities for employee development, and add diversity to their customer base.

Once the integration is completed, the CEC business will operate like the current four SNP divisions in Missouri and Illinois. Jared Nobbe will serve as the General Manager, Colton Parchert will be the Director of Sales, and Joe McWilliams will be the Service Director. All three are in the process of relocating to New York.

While we are extremely proud of our family’s 65-year legacy we felt the time was right to pivot into the future. SNP is the perfect partner for CEC on every front. They are a family owned & operated organization that shares our values, and we are confident they will build upon the legacy of the CEC family. Additionally, we wanted to ensure our team was going to be provided the best opportunity to continue their careers with a world class organization. SNP is a people first organization, truly recognizing the value of a strong culture & team. Finally, we wanted a partner that could meet the demands and expectations of our diverse customer base. SNP is a market leader in our industry with an amazing track record of exceeding customer expectations in every segment. We are excited to be partnering with SNP.

“We are proud to share a heritage as a family-owned business with the Frazee family.  We look forward to carrying on that legacy with the Cazenovia team,” said Ted Briscoe, SNPartners CEO. “Our mutual commitment to providing excellent customer service and outstanding parts and service will ensure the community’s needs are not only met but exceeded.”

We sincerely thank our customers for their trust and our team for their dedication to Cazenovia Equipment over these 65 years.
